Hongda Forge Company Co., Ltd. of Changchun City, China, is one of the countrys leading township enterprises in the forging industry and the largest supplier of forged products to First Automobile Works (Group).

The company, located in Erdao District, Changchun City, was founded in 1998, covering an area of 80000 square meters, with a building area of 36000 square meters, fixed assets of RMB100 million and an annual output value of more than RMB 200 million, and now has a production capacity of up to 30000 tons of forgings. The company has a number of technicians and engineers and a modern management team, now with 486 employees including 32 engineers and 11 senior engineers. It passed QS9000 quality certification in 2000 and now has become a specialized forge company that integrates die design and manufacture, forging stock forming, heat treatment, cleaning, correction and machining. Now it has the equipment: 12 forging units including 4000t hot die forging press, 2500t, 1600t, 1000t friction presses and others imported from Russia, and more than 160 sets of machining equipment including VB825 machining center imported from Taiwan, GH45 arc gear machine imported from Japan and others.

The main products of the company are forged products used for automobiles, 70% of which are supplied to First Automobile Works (Group) and 30% for railway, export and other purposes.
