Datong locomotive and forging Co., Ltd was founded on December 6, 2006. It was a joint stock enterprises restructured by the original Forging & Heat treatment workshops of the CNR Datong electric locomotive Co., Ltd which is the major production base for electric locomotives in China.
Our company is located at the southwest of Datong, Shanxi province with the area of 18,000 square meters, total assets of 60 million and more than 200 employees. She possessed 90 sets of various types of mechanical equipments. She has passed the ISO9000 Quality control system authentication and the ISO14000/ISO18000 environment/occupational safety health management system authentication.
She possessed the most advanced domestic axle production line for locomotives and vehicles, the annual production capacity is more than 30,000.
The die forging equipment includes 1 ton, 2 tons, 3 tons, 5 tons of die hammers and 4000 ton hot closed-die forging press and the free forging equipment includes the free forging hammer of 1/2 tons, 1 ton, 2 tons, 3 tons, hydraulic press of 1,250 tons and quick forging press of 800 tons. The heat treatment equipments includes vacuum furnace, ionitriding treatment furnace, gas carburizing furnaces, high&medium frequency quenching equipment, 鈥淒arok鈥?surface treatment production line and various of other conventional heat treatment equipment.
Our major business are forging product for railway rolling stock, heat treatment of metallic material and superficial protection, in addition we also provides die forging parts for industry, mining, automobile and large free forging pieces. The main product includes various types of axles, locomotive forging parts, forging parts for pistons & mining machinery, and we also export die-forging items etc.
The axle and traction bar, which is the critical forging parts for the bogie of HXD2 locomotive, have passed the ALSTOM , the French partner鈥檚 authentication. The production in series is already in progress and has been installed in HXD2 locomotive.
The forging parts we produced are not only used for domestic main-line electric locomotives, they are also exported to the United States. The axles have exported to India, Australia, Southeast Asia and some other countries and regions.
Our enterprise possesses abundant technical forces with six senior engineers, more than ten senior technicians. We possess excellent development & research ability on various types of forging parts, heat treatment products as well as the capacity of production in series.
